In order to make the conference again an informative and interesting meeting of the European tanning and leather industry, we, the VGCT and the FILK Freiberg as co-organisers, invite experts, researchers and specialists to actively contribute to the technical content. We are looking forward to presentations from the fields of:
New/alternative technologies for leather production
News from characterisation and analytics
Use of sustainable raw materials in tanning
Innovative processing technologies
Automation and mechanical engineering
New trends in the user industries
Craft tanneries in the age of Industry 4.0
The first speakers from various fields have already announced presentations. If you would also like to present new ideas, findings or applications in the field of tanning and leather technology or in related specialist areas, we look forward to receiving your submission by February 11, 2025.
Please note the following guidelines:
Your contribution should be written in English. At the conference you can present in German, while your PowerPoint presentation should be in English.
Your abstract should not contain more than 2500 characters (including spaces).
You can upload up to 2 figures/images to your abstract.
You can add up to 3 keywords to your abstract.
Submission rules:
The submitter declares that all named authors agree to the publication of their names and affiliations in relation to this paper.
All accepted abstracts will be published in the online conference programme after they have been accepted by the programme committee. With this submission, the author agrees to the publication of his/her contribution. Accepted abstracts can be accessed free of charge at any time in the online programme.
The author is responsible for clearing any third-party copyrights to the content of the abstract. We ask for your understanding that your abstract will be released as submitted. The organiser will not make any corrections to the submitted contributions. Online approval does not entitle the author to royalties.
